Missouri CRCL Project

Farmers have the unique opportunity to put their 4R knowledge to good use through the Missouri Climate-Resilient Crop and Livestock (CRCL) Project.

The project’s Nutrient Management and 4R Approach payment program incentivizes the implementation of appropriate nutrient management practices that include the 4R nutrient stewardship approach and split-nitrogen application.

  • Payment per acre: $20
  • Sign-up through January 31, 2024

How to Take Advantage of this Opportunity

1. Apply for the Missouri CRCL Project

Visit the Nutrient Management and 4R Approach Incentive Program page to find eligibility requirements and additional program details.

From there, you will be able to apply for the program online.

2. Brush Up on the 4Rs of Nutrient Stewardship

The Missouri 4R Nutrient Stewardship Certification Program has an excellent grower education video.

It packs a lot of helpful information into only a few minutes, to help you get familiar with or refresh your knowledge of the 4Rs and proven best management practices.
